When life feels heavy

There are times when life just feels too much.

You might feel emotionally numb, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself and others.

Perhaps your body feels restless, frozen, or deeply tired - even when you’re doing everything you can to cope.

You may also notice tightness in your chest, shallow breathing, a clenched jaw, or a constant sense of holding on.

Talking about it helps a little, but something deeper in your body still feels unsettled.

These responses aren’t signs that anything is wrong with you.

They are intelligent, protective patterns your nervous system developed to help you survive.

The good news is that through Breathwork, you can start to rewire these patterns at a cellular level - and make way for a new way of being.

This is not about forcing a release or 'fixing' anything. Together we work in a way that is slow and layered, so that your body can integrate and sustain the changes that take place, session-by-session.

What happens in a session...

Every session has a somatic (body-based) focus - guiding you to move from the thinking mind into the wisdom of your body.

Through somatic awareness practices, you'll learn to notice where tension, holding, and emotional charge lives - and how to create space for your nervous system to soften enough to let go.

After a focused period of Conscious Connected Breathing the session transitions in to integration where the body is invited to rest, absorb and settle in to a state of calm and restoration.

Every session is guided at your pace. You are always in the driver's seat of your process and nothing is forced. It's a space where your body leads, your unique nervous system is respected, and transformation unfolds gently, naturally, and in a way that feels safe to you.

Sound Therapy and Reiki may also be included in the sessions for deeper integration, if this is a preference for you.

Why Conscious Connected Breathwork?

Conscious Connected Breathwork works directly with your nervous system and your body’s natural ability to regulate, release, and restore.

When we experience stress, overwhelm, or trauma, our breath often becomes shallow, held, or disconnected. Over time, this can create tension, emotional numbness, and a sense of being stuck.

By practicing a connected breathing pattern, the body is given the chance to soften, move, awaken, and gradually shift deeply held patterns - many of which may have once served you as protection, but no longer support the life you want to live today.

The breath becomes a pathway not only to release what’s been held, but to reclaim your energy, presence, and sense of joy - beyond defenses and survival responses from the past.

This is not about forcing emotional release or reliving past experiences.
It’s about supporting your body to unwind, integrate, and access vitality, freedom, and aliveness again.

A powerful 90-minute session to reconnect with your body, breath, and inner world.  This session invites you on a journey of self-exploration, fully supported and witnessed by Rachel.

Conscious Connected Breathwork may be combined with guided movement, vocalisation, intuitive emotional expression, and supportive touch where appropriate - allowing the body to soften and release tension.

Session-by-session as you let go of what you’ve been holding, space is created for greater freedom, empowerment, connection, vitality, and inner peace to emerge.

Available both in person and online - this option is well suited for those new to Breathwork, and/or wishing to deepen their self-connection and capacity to regulate their emotions. The body leads the way, supporting a release without the need to analyse or revisit past experiences.

Discounted rates apply for block bookings of six sessions - generally recommended to allow the full, cumulative benefits to take effect.

This deeply nourishing two-hour immersion is for those wishing to experience the soothing, restorative benefits of Therapeutic Sound & Reiki, woven together with Conscious Connected Breathwork.

At the heart of the session is Breathwork - opening the doorway to expanded awareness, emotional release, and deeper connection with yourself. From here, the journey flows in to Reiki and/or Therapeutic Sound, supporting deeper rest & integration.

This journey offers a profound opportunity for healing, rest and reconnection, all held in a compassionate, non-judgmental space while honouring your unique process.

Suitable for those seeking a more passive session resulting in deep rest and recalibration - Rachel offers limited standalone Sound and/or Reiki sessions each month.

Sound Therapy uses crystal bowls, chimes, and therapeutic percussion to create soothing vibrations that guide the body and mind into harmony. These frequencies calm the nervous system, release energetic blockages, and support the body’s natural return to balance and flow.  

Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that channels universal life force energy to the body, supporting its innate ability to heal. It can help to ease emotional tension, restore a healthy energy flow and deeper sense of peace and grounding.

Both practices invite stillness, presence, and renewal - ideal for those seeking a nurturing reset or ongoing energetic maintenance for body and mind.

About Rachel

Rachel Broady is a trauma-informed Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator, Somatic Practitioner, Sound Therapist & Reiki master.

Having walked a path from complex trauma to healing, she brings not only a wide range of professional training but also the depth of lived experience.

She is passionate to support women who have spent years pushing through, feeling disconnected, anxious, or running on empty, to soften back into themselves and remember the joy, freedom, and aliveness that’s always been there.

She holds a nurturing, judgment-free space in Berkshire, or via zoom if preferred, where her clients are invited to show up exactly as they are, without needing to wear a mask or appear to have it all together.

Here, they are supported to reconnect with themselves on a deeper, more authentic level and to heal at a pace that honours their unique journey.
